The Cambridge subjects we offer in our Primary Phase include English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities.Our Humanities curriculum includes essential historical and geographical knowledge about South Africa, ensuring that our children develop a strong understanding of the history and geography of their home (or host) country.

Our Primary students also enjoy PE, Art, Music and ICT as part of their weekly enrichment programme at Helderberg International.

Our Primary students have the exciting opportunity to immerse themselves in both German and Spanish, two of the Modern Foreign Languages offered here at Helderberg International School. They delight in learning simple conversations, singing songs and learning rhymes in both languages, building a strong foundation for future language learning.

We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities for our Primary children to enjoy, including sports, music and various cultural programmes, all held after school.

We take pride in entering enthusiastic students into our annual interschool Eisteddfods, where they can showcase their talents and grow in confidence and where we can celebrate their achievements and successes as a school.
