Yes. All non–South African students require a Study Visa issued in the name of Helderberg International School. This is granted after assessment and a formal offer, and we guide families through the visa application process to ensure it is completed correctly.

We offer small to moderate class sizes, typically ranging from [X] to [Y] students. This enables personalised instruction, close monitoring of each student’s progress, and strong teacher–student relationships, while also providing a more private, secure, and well-supervised learning environment.

We provide individual guidance and counselling to help students make informed decisions about their subjects. This process considers their strengths, interests, learning style, and future goals, including university requirements both locally and internationally.

We work closely with students and parents to create subject combinations that are motivating, achievable, and aligned with long-term aspirations, and we continue to provide support as students progress through their studies.

A second language is required for a Matric pass and university exemption in South Africa. Afrikaans is also necessary for certain degree programmes, such as Education and Law. Taking a second language keeps students’ future options open and supports a well-rounded education. At our school, language learning is a key part of our institutional philosophy. This is why we offer multiple languages and international programmes, allowing students to study at one of our partner schools around the world to further develop their language skills and immerse themselves in different cultures.
